Interest in Vitamin D has exploded. In addition to its role in calcium homeostasis and bone health, vitamin D is increasingly being recognized for its effects on other systems of the body. Unfortunately many adults, including the young and healthy, have inadequate vitamin D levels. Hypertension Management Update
The selection of preferred antihypertensive agents remains hotly debated. The focus has shifted to identification of preferred combinations, since the vast majority of patients with hypertension require more than one drug to reach blood pressure goals.
