Maureen Knell, PharmD, BCACP, is a Clinical Professor at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) School of Pharmacy and an ambulatory care clinical pharmacist practicing on an interprofessional team at Saint Luke’s Internal Medicine Medical Education Clinic in Kansas City, Missouri. Dr. Knell received her PharmD from UMKC and completed a Pharmacy Practice Residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Her professional interests include chronic pain management, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, cholesterol management, and interprofessional education. Dr. Knell teaches in both classroom and clinical settings, mentoring pharmacy students and residents. She has been recognized as UMKC School of Pharmacy Teacher of the Year and is a two-time Preceptor of the Year.
